Tuesday Truth #53

Tuesday Truth.

Number 53.

Deep grief sometimes is almost like a specific location, a coordinate on a map of time. When you are standing in that forest of sorrow, you cannot imagine that you could ever find your way to a better place. But if someone can assure you that they themselves have stood in that same place and now have moved on, sometimes this will bring hope. -Elizabeth Gilbert

Many times, the Tuesday Truths that I share on this space are reminders to myself. They are words that I need to hear and that I hope in turn someone else stopping by my blog may need to hear as well.

I may have mentioned rigins before, but some of you may be new to my Tuesday Truths. My Tuesday Truth series was born out of words that I wanted to speak into the life of someone that I know outside of this online space. You can find my first Tuesday Truth by clicking here.

Today’s Truth is also specifically chosen to speak words into the life of someone that I know outside of this space.

I’m also aware that the Universe works on divine time…synchronicities…magic. So perhaps, if you are here today reading this truth, these may be words that you need to hear as well.

At many moments in life, I have found myself in the forests of sorrow. I can assure you that though the forest may be dark and deep, eventually the light will make its way through the canopy.

And when that happens, you can then become the assurance of hope to those who stand where you have once stood.

Let your light shine!

Amy

*I also want to add that sometimes finding that light requires professional help. If you need professional help, there are a number of resources that can be found on the internet. Please find help.*
