Tuesday Truth.
Number 46.

Happy Tuesday!!
And Happy First Day of October!
I’m back from my travels, refreshed, renewed and ready to continue tackling the journey.
I am just beginning to look to see what October holds. I’m hoping to carve out more time for writing!
I see that I have lots of soccer chauffeuring and games to attend. Plenty of advocating to do. And along with some upcoming changes, we have a bit of remodeling to tackle! Ahh…the joys of parenting and homeownership. I kid, of course. I am forever grateful to have the blessing of both of those.
Do you have any plans for October?
Let your light shine!
Amy
Until I read your post I hadn’t processed that it’s October. Already. Shit.
Yep. ALREADY. Shit…is right!
We leave for London next Wednesday! Looking forward to a break from work!
Ohhh…it’s getting close! I loved London, even though I was there only for a tiny bit. Enjoy!!
Great post 😊
Thank you!!
No problem 🙂 check out my blog when you get the chance 😄
Hoping to get some Fall Color photography in this month, visit my Grandsons, see my Mom. Mom is coming in from FL next week. It will be great to see her. It’s been a year last week since I last saw her.
Gotta go change my calendar now!
I hope you find lots a Fall color to photograph, Deborah!! I’m worried that the drought here is just going to take things from green to dead. But I’m keeping my fingers crossed! I’m finally catching up on blogs now that I have a little breathing room and see that you got to visit your grandsons! I’m sure that was wonderful. I hope that you have an amazing time with your mom! 🙂
I’ve founds some, and am waiting for other places to pop! I hope you get some color there too.
I’m always playing catch-up with blog reading. I hope you get caught up soon.
It’s good to have you back. I’m sure you loved seeing your Mom and family in FL, but are glad to be home.
I’m looking forward to seeing my Mom she’ll be here Wednesday evening!
What a great quote; if we can’t find light, it’s up to us to create it. 🙂
It’s hard to believe it’s already October. Especially as I put out our Halloween decorations yesterday… on a 95 degree October afternoon! So unseasonably crazy 😀
Sometimes it is hard, but it’s well worth it!!
I cannot even believe it’s October! We FINALLY got some fall weather. My fingers are crossed that it sticks around this time! 😛
YOU are the sunshine, Amy:) I could immediately sense the renewal from your post. Thank you for sharing your light. It does make a difference:)
Thank you so much, Erica!! I really appreciate your kind words. I definitely came back with some much-needed renewal. xx
I wish I could have ‘summer vacation’ in October. I want to tromp in the leafeses and apple orchard and all the fall things and there is never enough time. I’m going to work on taking a few days off this month, maybe when the kids have break.
Chores are not entirely unpleasant but involve campus tour and bulb planting.
There doesn’t seem to be enough time, that’s for sure! Soccer ties up much of our fall weekend time, but it’s a home game the weekend of 19-20th and we have the Go Outside Festival (GoFest) here that weekend which I’m excited to be in town for.
I hope that you get some days off to enjoy a “summer vacation” in October.
I’m planning to add more indoor greenery, but I might have to see if I can plant some bulbs that produce beauteous colors for the spring. I’m glad your chores aren’t entirely unpleasant. I’m sure we’ll be doing campus tours next year.
Can’t go wrong with tulips and daffodils, but there are so many spring bulbs — have fun!
There’s always chauffeuring to do with kids around isn’t there. Our son is just on the cusp of getting his license. Hope you’re having a great month Amy. xx
There certainly is! My youngest is only a few months away from her license. It will be strange to have the chauffeuring duties greatly diminished. I hope that you’re having a great month as well, Miriam!! xx
Thanks Amy, I am. And yes, these kids grow up so quick! xx
