Bedlam & Daisies

MEET AMY

Hey there!! I’m Amy – a writer, photographer, and witness to the shifting seasons, both in life and in nature. Here you’ll find trail journal entries, earth-inspired art, and reflections on living alongside seasonal cycles. It’s a space dedicated to slowing down, trusting your intuition, and finding beauty in the world around us – even in the midst of chaos.

THE STORY BEHIND THE NAME

finding the beauty in the chaos

When I started Bedlam & Daisies back in 2016, I was entering a major shift. After years of raising a family, my children were moving toward adulthood. I found myself in a quiet transition, wondering who I was outside of the roles I held for so long — asking what it looked like to uncover my own passions.

That’s where the name was born: life is rarely quiet. It’s full of noisy transitions, everyday busyness —the bedlam. But if you slow down enough to really take in the world around you, the way the sunlight filters through the trees, the sound of waves kissing the shoreline, or the way the breeze whispers its secrets…the daisies.

What began as a quiet space to process life’s shifts has grown into a daily practice of noticing — spending more time in nature, observing its subtle shifts and capturing that through film, words, and earth-inspired art. Bedlam & Daisies is an invitation to slow down, honor the seasons of both nature and your life & find grounding right where you are.
