Tuesday Truth #45

Tuesday Truth.

Number 45.

There is a kind of magicness about going far away and then coming back all changed. -Kate Douglas Wiggin

Currently, I am far away.

Not as far away as my photo.

I am in Florida.

I traveled down to the Gainesville area for my grandfather’s memorial. Then I continued on to my parents’ home down in Naples for a visit and to celebrate my mother’s birthday this coming Thursday.

I’m am also taking full advantage of recharging. You cannot pour from an empty vessel and I have been pouring and pouring and needed time to refill before I once again pour and pour some more. And motherhood is often filled with lots of pouring.

So this week, for me, the magicness of coming back all changed is a soul-filling thought.

Have you ever experienced the magicness of coming back all changed after going far away?

Let your light shine!

Amy

  1. It’s so important to replenish and recharge ourselves. I hope you come back feeling refreshed and revitalised. I do believe that travel changes us, even in very subtle ways. Enjoy it all Amy. xx

  2. So true, Amy on the pouring, refilling, pouring. For some strange reason I think we are possibly on the same karmic wavelength of life. I have just returned from a trip and you say it well, “magicness of coming back all changed.” Too complex to share here although will share in future. Thank YOU for sharing YOUR light. Xx

    1. Erica, perhaps we truly are on the same karmic wavelength of life!! 🙂 I’m glad to hear that your trip had the “magicness of coming back all changed”. I’m slowly catching up with reading blogs since I’m beginning to find a little more breathing room in my day and can’t wait to find out about your trip. xx

  3. I don’t even have to go far. A walk in the local park can change my energy, mood, and mindset 🙂
I hope you’ve had good travels, and good for you taking time to refill.

I'd love to hear your thoughts! Share them here.
