End of 2019.
Here we are on the cusp of a new decade.
Last year, I shared my top 10 posts of 2018. I enjoyed the process of looking back and seeing what the majority of people were coming to read.
I wrote very little this year and so the majority of the “top 10” come from previous years. My
While “top 10” can be subjective, I’ve chosen to share the 10 that were most viewed in 2019.
Now on with the show.
Number 10.
The number 10 post is The Cloisters – University of Glasgow.

This post was published August 3, 2017. I think this may have seen new traffic due to the fact that I actually show up on Google for this post. Also, The Cloisters were used as the film location representing Harvard in the Outlander series.
Number 9.
The number 9 post is Visiting the Historical Area of Explore Park in Virginia.

This post was published February 2, 2017. I think this saw an uptick in views because Explore Park has grown since my visit. They have camping and recently opened a zipline course, as well as some other new things.
Number 8.
The number 8 post is 5 Photos That Will Make You Want to Visit Aruba.

This post was published on April 11, 2018. It was actually number 5 in last year’s “top 10” posts. It’s the Caribbean. I think that says it all as to why it makes the top 10.
Number 7.
The number 7 post is In a Sea of Faces.

This post was published on February 21, 2018. It was a Wordless Wednesday post and was part of a weekly photo challenge with the prompt
Number 6.
This number 6 post is Visiting Holyrood Abbey in Edinburgh, Scotland.

This post was published on September 5, 2017. It made the number 7 spot in last year’s “top 10”. The number of views on this post was a 64.5% increase over this year’s number 7 spot. I typically reserve numbers for the
Number 5.
Halfway!
The number 5 post is 11 Things to do in Charleston.

This post was published on April 10, 2019. Intentionally posted on the day of my 20th wedding anniversary because this was a little anniversary getaway. I’m aware that I owe you all some more posts on Charleston. I’ve uploaded the photos and some of them are even for sale on my photography site, but as mentioned, I wrote very little this year.
Number 4.
The number 4 post is Tips for Visiting the Palace of Versailles.

This post was
Number 3.
The number 3 post is Visiting the Anne Frank House.

This post was published on July 25, 2017. It was also the number one post viewed post of 2018. I updated this post as well. To date, this is still one of the most moving places that I have visited. Even though it holds the number 3 slot this year, the views on it increased 65.8% in 2019. Up from 603 views in 2018 to 1,000 views in 2019.
Number 2.
So close!
The number 2 post is What I Learned from 30 Days of No Alcohol.

This post was published on August 30, 2017. This post kicked off my year of “this is 40” challenges. It held the number 4 spot in 2018. Pinterest became my friend this year with this post causing this post to have a 669.9% increase in views. From 385 views in 2018 to 2,964 views in 2019. I will be employing more of these large swaths in sobriety in 2020. More on that later.
Number 1.
Drumroll please!!
You may have already guessed it if you’ve followed my blog this year.
The number 1 post for 2019 is Love Letter to My Daughter.

Be still my heart!
This post was published on October 24, 2016. It was a love letter written to Miss Sunshine on her 13th birthday. This year she turned 16 and I followed up with another love letter.
Pinterest was once again my friend in bringing viewers. I’m not sure what they were searching for that led them to stumble upon my post, but I am very grateful. The percentage increase for this post was a whopping 24,877.8%! I had to scroll and scroll to find the number of views in 2018. There were 18 views on this post in 2018. Obviously, it wasn’t even close to hitting the top 10 last year. However, even if you go back to the year that it was written, it had 67 views. For 2019 it had 4,496 views! I do love this post and loved being reminded to go back a re-read it.
That’s a Wrap!
So there you have it. Bedlam & Daisies top 10 viewed posts of 2019.
I’ve enjoyed looking back and remembering some of the posts that I haven’t seen in a while. I hope that you enjoyed it as well.
I’ll be back tomorrow with a final Tuesday Truth of the year.
Until then…
Let your light shine!
Amy

Happy New Year, Erica!! I did love the Cloisters. Just a stunning piece of architecture!! The views are just the number of people who’ve looked at the post that is found in the statistics. I’m always curious about how someone finds my blog. 🙂 I’m so glad that you enjoy the photos and posts. xx
