I’m on a Podcast!

On Talking.

I’ve been silent too long.

Ok. Ok. I’ve been writing, but not physically talking.

But that’s changed.

Podcasts.

A friend that I met through the blogging world, Jonathan (jonbeckett.com), has just started a podcast!

He’s interviewing bloggers…where they came from…their blogging journey…where they might be going next…AND I’VE BEEN INTERVIEWED!!

The podcast is now live.

I hope you’ll have a listen!

And if you’re a blogger who’d like to share your story be sure to reach out to Jonathan. He makes you feel like you’re catching with a long lost friend over a cup of tea.

Let your light shine!

Amy

    1. Until I was 4 1/2. But yes, Iโ€™m finally reading that book right now and I canโ€™t put it down!! While my story is nothing like hers, I relate to that connection to the earth and can feel exactly what sheโ€™s talking about. The book is so good!!! And my parents still live on the land. Growing up it was “where the crawdads sing”! ๐Ÿ˜‰

    2. After my brother was born, we had a trailer since the school bus did not have enough beds. When I was 7, they had the shell of a house built and my dad slowly did all of the plumbing, electricity, drywall, etc. because in Florida you can do that as long as each section is inspected by the county. But real electricity did not come in until later. And I did know where all the land was that turned to swamp in the rainy season because I knew what type of trees grew where. One of my early posts showed the bus : https://bedlamanddaisies.com/original-tiny-house-dweller/

    1. Thank you for taking the time to listen to what you could. I know all about how it goes when people start arriving. lol. I’ve often thought it was cool to put a voice with a face, so I’m happy I was able to share it on my end. ๐Ÿ™‚

  1. Amy, I greatly admire your courage doing this podcast. For me, I think this is under the category of Public Speaking and a big fear of mine. Jonathan seemed to help make you feel comfortable and ask great questions. Your upbringing is likely why you are such an interesting lady with many levels to your personality. My interpretation. ๐Ÿ™‚ You have a very pretty, calming voice. Nice to listen and learn more about you.xx

    1. Thank you so much, Erica. I don’t love public speaking, but I did spend all of high school in drama and gave a speech in front of about 50 women probably 15 years ago now. My heart was racing and some thoughts slipped away (lol) but Jonathan was great at making it all flow smoothly. I do think I had a pretty unique childhood. Something that I really appreciate in my adulthood. Thank you for kind words about my voice! You always hope it comes across well when there’s only you voice conveying your thoughts. xx

  2. Thanks for sharing. I just started blogging again. I forgot how much I enjoyed writing like this. And I bought a starter audio setup. I am going to podcast too! Iโ€™ll check the audio out. Thanks again!
