Tuesday Truth #51

Tuesday Truth.

Number 51.

Laura Ingalls Wilder Quote "It is the sweet, simple things of life which are the real ones after all." Background - boardwalk through a salt marsh in Carolina Beach, North Carolina

I’m pulling this quote from within my archives, shared before I began my Tuesday Truth series.

Isn’t it so true?

The sweet, simple things of life truly are the real ones.

I hope that you all have a marvelous day and a week that uplifts your soul.

If you’re one of my readers that celebrate Thanksgiving, I hope that it filled with many warm memories and lots of tasty food.

We are hosting my husband’s family and probably a few extra teenagers. My husband is preparing the meal and I’m making the pies.

Growing up, there was always an assortment of pies at Thanksgiving dinner. Blueberry Cobbler, Apple, Pecan…probably more that I’m forgetting, as well as the three that are favored within my immediate family and are the ones that I’ll be making.

Pumpkin, chocolate, and banana.

What is your favorite type of pie?

Let your light shine?

Amy

    1. Yum. I do love Sweet Potato Pie too. I didn’t grow up with that one, but have picked them up from the bakery and they are tasty. I might have to try my hand at making one someday. We will be having sweet pototo casserole, though. 🙂

      Thanks so much, Deborah!!

  1. Mmm, pie! I’m partial to boring ones like apple and pumpkin. 😛 Oh, but chocolate pie is so delicious too…

Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving, and wishing you the merriest of Christmases! <3
