Tuesday Truth
Number 19.

Never trust your fears.
I think that we all could stand to hear this today.
I know that I often believe that little whisper that says “I can’t” or “I’m not strong enough” or “You’re gonna fail.”
And I’m pretty sure that sometimes you believe some whispers that might sound similarly true.
But in those moments, remember your strength.
Remember the fires that you have walked through.
You may not have escaped them unscathed, but you came out stronger.
With more wisdom.
Don’t let your fears hold you back.
Chase that dream.
Take that adventure.
Say hello to a stranger.
Look a person in the eye and smile.
What little whisper is holding you back?
You have a hidden strength.
Seek it out. Find it.
Overcome the fear.
Let your light shine!
Amy

My post parallels yours today. I feel affirmed. π
Oh good! I love it when we have those parallels that affirm us. They are the best!! π
I have read how βfearβ and βloveβ are our two basic emotions. I am leaning towards βloveβ. Great words, Amy!
Love is definitely a great emotion to lean toward!! I’m so glad that you stopped by Erica! π

Hey Amy,
I just found your blog today and I’m already in love. Finding beauty within chaos is indeed an admirable journey. And I think the contents of this post says exactly what you need to go through that journey, our fears really doesn’t know our strength.
I wish you all the best. And if it wouldn’t be too much trouble, I’d appreciate it if you could check out my blog, http://wisterielle.com/, I write about intentional living, personal development and self-care. π
Thank you so much Hafseena!!
I’m a big fan of intentional living, along with personal development and self-care. I’m also a big fan of dark chocolates, coffee shops, and scented candles too!! I’ll be sure to check back to your page. π
Every time I think that I’m not strong enough to overcome an obstacle, a greater force reminds me that I can and will be strong… because there is no other choice. π
That’s very true. Often we are left with no other choice but to be strong. It’s amazing how much resilience we actually possess π
This post made me think about the whole struggle with making a first step at anything – about leaving your comfort zone – taking a chance. I still find it hard even now.
I’m not sure leaving your comfort zone ever becomes easy. Maybe easier…at least that’s what I’m hoping. But that struggle does remind me that often I am stronger than my fear. π
