Tuesday Truth #15

Tuesday Truth.

Number 15.

When you feel a peaceful joy, that's when you are near the truth. - Rumi

I hope that you all find that place of peaceful joy.

Today, I am celebrating Christmas with my family.

If you celebrate Christmas, I hope that you have a very Merry Christmas.

And to all of my readers, I want to wish you a joyous holiday season.

I do have the announcement for my January Challenge scheduled to come out tomorrow. If you aren’t signed up to receive e-mails about the blog updates, you can do that in the sidebar.

I know this time of year can be very hectic.

I hope that you find many moments of relaxation and contentment.

Let your light shine!

Amy

  1. Amy-
Haven’t talked to you in a long while! I am glad to see all is well in your beck of the woods. I just wanted to wish you the merriest of Christmases and truly hope that your holiday is full of fun, laughter, family and love. Thank you for encouraging me when I first started back up again. I am now just 6 days away from finishing another year and I just wanted to know I really appreciate you!

    1. Thank you so much! And thank you for such kind words! I hope that you had a truly merry Christmas. One of my children was away so it was new, strange territory, but we did have a lovely day with fun and laughter.
It so great that you are so close to finishing up another year and I’m happy to have played a part in it!!

      1. I had two away last year, and that was not easy at all so I know what you are going through. I was very happy just to have them all back at the same time. The first time in probably 2 years. I don’t think we can ever be ready for it, and now I have a better sense of what I put my parents through that first Christmas away.

    1. Thank you so much Deborah! We did have a lovely Christmas. I hope that you did as well! I’m alternating between deep relaxation (vegging out on some bing-watching and tons of reading) and deep cleaning and purging as we head toward the new year. 🙂

  2. Merry Christmas to you and your family, Amy. Our family looks at Christmas as a Season, not just one day. This seems to take the pressure off. I like your words “moments of relaxation and contentment”……..the word “contentment” continues to appear in my life lately…..I will listen to the whispers. I will continue to enjoy reading and sharing thoughts with you, Amy, in 2019. 🙂

    1. Thank you Erica. I hope that you all are enjoying this Christmas season. I like the idea of anything that takes the pressure off!! Contentment is a great word. One of my grandmother’s greatest wishes for me (she passed away shortly after I moved to Virginia in 2013) was that I find contentment. I still have a lot to learn about it, but I’m closer than I used to be. 🙂 I hope you find many answers in those whispers. I very much look forward to sharing thoughts together in 2019.

I'd love to hear your thoughts! Share them here.
