I want to thank Nicky from The Shimmer Within Her for inviting me to participate in this challenge.  Answering the questions in my handwriting.

I have been going from sick kid to sick kid so this was a welcome change. 🙂

So without further ado, here are my responses:

My name: Amy

My blog: Bedlam and Daisies

My favorite word: contentment- the state of being happy and satisfied:  the state of being content.

Something nice: A smile costs nothing and can be a priceless gift that we offer.

Favorite song: Time After Time by Cyndi Lauper

Writing with: a purple pen

Fun fact: I write REALLY BIG

Favorite emoticon: 😘. Although I use this one most 😂

Silly message: The best angle from which to approach any problem is the TRYangle.

I ran out of room on who to invite, but anyone who’d like to participate is invited!

It was great to sit down and take the time to think through the answers.  Luckily, they weren’t too hard!  It was also good to write again even if it was just a few snippets.

Let your light shine!

  1. You have an interesting mix of the cursive an print:) In my teens I was interested in handwriting (from a psychological standpoint).. And actually when I went to elementary school “writing” was a class in Holland! Hope your kids get better soon!
Do something for yourself this weekend! Thanks for visiting me!

    1. Thank you! My handwriting has evolved over time into a mixture of the two. I used to use cursive exclusively, but my writing was bubbly and hard for some people to read so I began printing more.
The children appear to be on the mend. New school year…new germs 🙂
I’m looking forward to the weekend. I hope you enjoy yours as well!

  2. My handwriting starts out pretty neat, but as I get into the middle of my efforts, it declines very quickly. Must be impatient to get it written, plus my hand tends to fall asleep lol. Your handwriting is lovely.

  3. Here’s hoping everyone is on the road to recovery. 🙂 I grew up in an era when handwriting was a skill that gave a hint about the person. Today our thumbs are more important, and I wonder if future generations will even be exposed to cursive handwriting. Love the purple pen and the positive advice. 🙂

  4. I loved the first quote 🙂 So so true when you think about it 🙂 But then everyone wants or hopes their future should be in a manner they desire right? And that leads to anxiety. And love the handwriting part 🙂 It is so much difficult for me now you know 😀 Even holding a pen feels weird 😛

I'd love to hear your thoughts! Share them here.
