I knew this was Edinburgh the moment I saw it. Lovely image. Great city.
Thank you! It was a beautiful city to spend some time touring. I hope to return again someday.
It’s beautiful. Love all the different colors and the architecture. Great photo
Thank you! It is a lovely street with all its vibrant colors.
Oh to have a house with hot pink trims!
That would be exciting to be sure! One of the reasons that I hadn’t shared the photo on the blog before was because I thought I might talk about that specific building. That is the shop for Oink! They serve pulled pork and the pig is displayed in the window and the pork served until it’s gone. Somebody on my plane ride from Virginia to Florida where I was meeting my mother and begin our Scotland journey had told me that I had to eat there. It was really good (and crowded) 🙂
Love the colours in this photo! Gorgoeus x
Thank you Dee! xo-Amy
I knew that looked familiar…. great shot.
Thank you!!
What a lovely street scene, beautifully captured!
Thank you so much! It is a beautiful street to walk along.
Gorgeous photo. I recognised it too 🙂 Although at first glance, I thought “is that Edinburgh, Stirling, or Windsor?!”
Thank you! There are so many beautiful streets to be found over there. I guess I’ll just have to return again and again to find them!
Ah yes, lovely!
Thank you!
Great composition and colors, Amy, your image invites the viewer to walk down that street and enjoy what it has to offer. Thanks for sharing! And I would die right now for some of that pulled pork you mentioned!
Thank you Marcus! I really appreciate your feedback. I feel like I’m finally beginning to understand composition. Now on to light…my biggest struggle (that and settings). I actually made pulled pork just two night ago, but that pulled pork in Edinburgh was great. And you can’t beat the city view while eating it. 🙂
