Friday Funnies – Attack Of The Sheep

Gearrannan Blackhouse Village. Carloway. Isle of Lewis. Outer Hebrides. Scotland.

Friday Funnies.

Attack of the Sheep. Or my alternate title. Anxiety in Action.

“I believe that the ability to laugh at oneself is fundamental to the resiliency of the human spirit.”

– Jill Conner Browne

In the past, I’ve shared about the day trip that my mother and I took to Scotland’s Isle of Lewis in May of 2018 (for our itinerary check out the post: What To See In One Day On The Isle of Lewis).

I’ve also been very open about the fact that I have anxiety issues.

My mother and I had one day on the Isle of Lewis in Scotland and decided the best way to see the maximum amount of sights was to rent a car. I was the navigator and I don’t passenger well to start with since it tends to increase my propensity toward anxiety. And this was also our first time driving on the opposite side of the road. We were on the road to Gearannan Blackhouse Village when we came upon this shepherd moving his sheep to another pasture.

Since humor is the best medicine and we could all use some comedic relief in our current times, I’m sharing never before seen footage of my anxiety in action for your viewing pleasure.

Happy Friday!

I still get the giggles every time I watch this video. Especially when my mother laughs at my stressed out sigh.

I hope it brought a brought you a good chuckle or, at the minimum, a smile to your lips.

Stay safe and healthy out there! Find something that makes you laugh each day. Sending you all love and light! xx

Let your light shine!
